hi everyone! i got my z32 turbo a couple weeks ago and i noticed an oil leak which is coming out from the bolt pointing to the right side of the picture. don't mind the water droplet towards on the left of it as i just power washed the grime build up underneath the car. it is located towards the front of the transmission housing. very new to this car, so anyone would know whats causing this? i imagine it can't be simply the washer... thanks!

That is a structural bolts that mounts your trans to the engine, the oil you are seeing could be coming from a multitude of places like the rear main on the engine, the input shaft seal on the trans, or even as high as your valve cover gaskets.

Dang, i knew it wasnt going to be easy. Thanks though, hopefully its not a too expensive fix. Pulling the motor isnt something i can do at home.

Pulling the motor is definitely not cheap and being that this is a fairly rare car I would highly recommend that you take it to someone that knows these cars and has worked on them before (Z32s specifically) also if you are going to do this for one leak you should consider doing a full refresh of the gaskets and seals, it will add a bit of cost now but definitely save you from having to go back in to fix leaks that will develop in the future.
