Oil in my intercooler pipeing

In 2014, the G37 Sedan became Infiniti Q50. G37 Coupe and Convertible became Infiniti Q60 under Infiniti's new naming structure - Here's the place to discuss the Q50 and Q60!

Yesterday we were building brackets for my new mishimoto eat, sleep, race intercooler and found oil in the pipeing. I updated my CPU so it's producing significantly more boost so I was wondering if I need a catch can or if when I install my APEXI boost controler and sylinoid this will help fix the problem. I have to replace the turbo seals now and was thinking I might as well upgrade to the ball bering turbo and get bigger fuel injectors but I'm worried it might make things worse. The transmission seems like it's struggling to keep up with the engine. Any one know what I should do? I have the 2.0t premium and since it's a Mercedes engine infiniti is lost, Mercedes doesn't know the layout so no one has been able to help.

Oil in the intercooler piping is not an issue and is common for most turbo cars. If your PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) is routed back to your intake, then its normal to see some oil in the charge piping. Check if your turbo has shaft play as well as burning oil. This will give you a good idea as to if its the PCV or the turbo seals themselves.

Bigger injectors will only help as long as they are reputable and ran WITH A CORRECT TUNE. DO NOT run aftermarket/bigger injectors without the correct engine management to account for them.

The transmission is a problem of its own.

Good luck!
