This is my first time for me to do oil change myself. I know where the oil filter is, but I find difficulty in locating oil drain plug. Can anyone post a picture to show where oil drain plug located? Thanks

Info on oil changes is on 8-9 of your owner's manual. If you still cannot distinguish the oil drain from there, then I suggest you have a shop perform the oil change. By the way, the factory oil filter is set quite tight.

Can't help you with a picture, but if you have changed oil on other vehicles, it should be pretty obvious on the Versa.

The oil filter is a PITA to get to in my opinion. It is in an ackward location. I was unable to get it off the first time. Versa Madness is right about the factory oil filter being on very tight.

The funky drain plug crush washer can be a little tricky to remove from the bolt.

It helps a lot to remove the lower valance to get to the oil filter.Be careful to replace all the screws, or the valance will catch the edge of your driveway and rip itself off. Don't ask how I know. The whole procedure is way harder than it should be, which is why I let my dealer do the services.

Remove the filter from the bottom, remove the protective cover from underneath and its easy to get at. Great thing is it takes the same oil filter as my B14 SE-R

All the guys that are saying its a PITA.. how are you removing it? from the top? Thats the only way i can think it would be a pain in the ***.

I think they are referring to trying to get the factory filter off and it can be a pain if you don't have the right tool for the job.
