Those are your tires' section widths, not offsets. Offsets refer to the backspacing of the wheel.
Of those choices, I'd go with the 20mm. However, I wouldn't recommend either. According to the offset calculator (
http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp ), with the 20mm offset, you are going to lose 15mm of inner clearance and it will extend 35mm more towards the outside. With the 42mm offset, you're going to lose 37mm inner clearance and extend 13mm.
I'd recommned a staggered setup, with someone around a 9" wide up front. Then, you'd need to look for offsets in the mid 20's.
