i opted for more of a touring tire because they were cheaper and hopefully i will get more miles from them compared to more of a performance tire

I am considering Toyo T1Rs @ 195/55-16 when either I find extra money in my budget or wear the stock conties out.

Those tires were excellent on the Miata I used to have, probably the best tires I had on there the 15+ years I had the car. You won't be disapointed with them. Well, as long as you don't try to use them in winter that is...

Just looking around. I have studded winter tires on it now and it's the 2nd season so they are done and they legally have to be removed soon. My original tires, I only got about 50000 kms.

I am looking for a good quality, all around tire, original size........ but I was thinking of a "cool" tire for the kids........ 19 inchers? lol

I bought a spoiler, It will be in next week.......... and window vents.

We knew about the spoiler... but now he's talking rims, guys... I swear... he's going to buy a CAI next.

So... do you charge extra for the F&F Drift lessons? hehe

Seriously, though.. there's already another thread asking this question...zerothread?id=321097

Since I already have a set of winter tires for... the winter, I might as well get something that works great in the summer. That and the fact that I do want to take the V to the track for lapping days (or rather being lapped days) make the T1R as the main tire I'm considering when the time comes to replace the conties.
