We don't have any sponsors for this event other than TunerZStore who is putting on the Plan B BBQ on Saturday. If somebody would like to sponsor the event in some way, they can email me @ [email protected] to let me know what they have in mind.

I'm in...just booked my room - nothing like waiting until the last minute. :)

I'll hook up with all you southbound Yankees at the I-81/I-26 Interchange and I'm sure L32 will hook up with us a little while after that (Erwin's a good fuel stop).

1st post has been updated with registration information. Please make sure you register by clicking on the Paypal button in the 1st post. Registration is $20 and covers food for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.

Also, if you plan on choosing plan B on Saturday, please click the meal ticket to Paypal an additional $6 to cover meal costs and give us a headcount of who will be doing which plan. If you are paying for more than one person, just do it twice. Thanks!! Can't wait to see everyone there!

Still really looking forward to this. Plan B isn't going to work for me since I want to get in some sight seeing and drive on some more roads. Unfortunately that means I'm going to have to work in the Cherohala highway on Friday or Monday.

That being said I'm looking forward to finding out if theres going to be plans for Monday since I already have a long ride in on Friday.

Read the information in the first post. The Biltmore ticket must be *ordered* by Aug 22nd, not used by.

After August 22nd, we will have vouchers available at Fontana for a $46 rate. The regular price (without the voucher) is $59.

If you are having problems, let me know and I will call them to get it squared away.

Still need a place to stay? I booked a cabin for fri and sat nights, you can crash on the floor or couch if it has one.

Getting excited for this trip!

Any recommendation for things to do/see on the wife and my trip from Fontana Dam to Outer Banks? Basically, looking for fun and unique pitstops. Also, we've never been to the Outer Banks so any recommendations on where to stay/eat and what to do/see would be great!

Here's our Google Map planned trip so far... it's open collaboration so feel free to add recommendations by clicking the EDIT button.

I only have a couple people registered to eat @ picnic on Saturday, if your are intentions are to eat, I need a head count as the amount of food prepared will based on total meal tickets.

Likewise, we only have a couple people registered for the event at all. Registration is purely to cover the cost of food, but if we don't get any more people registering, we're going to assume nobody is interested in having dinner each night. From what I heard, this event had a great turnout last year. But that's not apparent by the interest this year. I hope everyone is going to register soon! I'd hate for this to be the 1st and last year we do this event.

Register!!!

Cant wait for this as well.... I just wish I didn't have to choose between the plans for Saturday, they both sound like good fun, but considering Ive never been to clingmans dome.... its an obvious choice ;)

Also bringing beer is a must considering Graham co. is a dry county  but there are a few places you can get a drink with your meal, Fontana Village being one of them

Just updated the 1st post with a notice to buy alcohol before getting there because it is a dry county. Also, updated those that registered today. Thanks! Hopefully that'll get the ball rolling and more people will register soon.

I haven't really drank Yuengling since college. I guess I kinda drank it too often that it doesn't appeal to me anymore. I'm torn between the space conscious Jack and Coke or our great local beer Lions Head.

How bout the fact that 7 of the 9 people registered are from Pennsyltucky. Hopefully that will lead to a nice caravan. This is going to be awesome.

No need to convince me of that, Yeungling is one of my top 3 faves. funny thing, when I was in south carolina a yeungling six pack was $2 cheaper than at my home in PA where It is produced.

I have a feeling we will get a bunch of last-minute people registering. One person is planning on coming with me, and I tried to talk another friend from Alabama to come up for it in his Viper. He said he'll look into it. If he comes, he'll probably pick up another friend in Atlanta on the way too. Oh well, whatever, whether it's 10 or 100 cars, we're going to have a blast!

I'll be bringing a few bottles of a little bit of the hard stuff. Most likely Canadian Club Whiskey and Tangeray Gin.

Just registered today, will have the NX in tow, hopefully not the only 2000 out there. I might have the shortest drive of them all since I'm coming from the Crystal Coast. Looking forward to it!
