How "family friendly" is this event? I realize there will be colorful language and things like that, but just wondering if the general vibe is ok for bringing my kids along. They've grown up around swap meets and races, so if its the same general crowd, it should be fine. Not sure if I'll spring the extra $40 for the four of us to get up close in the track area to watch the drifting and all, but the show itself looks like a great time.

It should be mentioned, that kids aren't allowed in the pits. You need to be 18+ to get into the pits for safety.

With that being said, it's very family friendly. Definitely bring the family to the event! You can still get a good view of the track without being in the pits. Your kids will have a blast!

Thanks for clarifying about the pits. Even if that weren't the case, I probably wouldn't have felt comfortable about bringing them in there for safety sake. But I'll definitely come down to the show itself for the weekend...

How is it always the weekend of her birthday? This is the 1st year it's ever been the 2nd weekend of May. Usually it is the first.

Are there any rules about soliciting? (not sex) haha but like t-shirts, stickers, and what not. If we cant sale stuff can we give stuff out for free like flyers or stickers...everyone love stickers haha

Do you mean for *you* to solicite or for us?

You can give away stuff with no problem. As for as selling stuff, NICO has permission to sell items at the event, but otherwise I would advise contacting Cars at Carlisle management if you want to sell product there.

Did you paypal the $10? I can't check our Paypal account right now because the paypal transaction search feature is apparently down at the moment. Keeps giving an error and saying to try again later.

NP, I'll do it again. If I over pay, you owe me a case of Classic Lager.

Welcome. the Park Inn might still have rooms available. (717) 697-0321. It's a big place that hosts weddings/banquets. If they are full, don't panic. I'm sure there might be some NICO folks willing to share their rooms. Plus, there are many other hotels on the same road (Carlisle Pike), most of which are located closer to the Fairgrounds and in all price ranges.

Where in Philly? I have a room with some floor space left, if I can get a couple more people it'll boil down to $75 each for Friday - Sunday. PM me if you're interested, I live in Mayfair so you can caravan up with me Friday afternoon.
