http://www.wheelsnext.com/wheels-rims/T ... Black.html

rear wheel 20x10" et40 with a 5" stainless steel lip

looks almost like a Vossen copy but at about $900 less.

also front wheel has a 2.5" lip

I have these wheels ^^^, ill post pics with them today for you. These are great wheels, people always think their a 3pc wheel. I have junction produce wheel caps on them though to go with my theme. Tell ya the truth, these are better then Vossens. Like you said their cheaper and I a have friend who owns a rim shop and the Vossen lip have been falling apart on people as they have been driving. He has since stop selling the company until they fix the problem.

Heres a picture of them at night: post5267563.html?hilit=photo%20shoot%20 ... d#p5267563

Thanks infinitedrift

I'll be waiting for your day pics. I was going to send you a PM but you don't have one.

could you also post your info on your set up, like:

wheel size & offset
tire size
suspension

and if you don't mind what was the price on just the wheels?

I need to run full size tires (front 245/35 and rear 285/30) because it's the daily driver & family car. I'm not allowed to think about VIP style :frown: (which I love).

I need to keep the wheels & tires in the fender (no sticking out). What I would like is to keep the wheel lip or tire edge as close as possible to the fender lip with little gap and no rubbing at all even when the car is loaded with 5 people & the trunk full.

Suspension: Stock 1/2 coil cut(F) and Tein Springs 1.5" drop(R) I was going to go lower in the front, but hopefully im seeing airbag suspension in near near future. I got the wheels from a friend who has a wheel shop, I got'em cheaper.

I was in the middle of clay baring and losing sunlight rapidly, sorry for the rushed pics. I was only able to get 1 coat of wax on before it started raining

Please edit your original post with the NAME of your wheel lol. Your post isn't very helpful without that important bit of information :).

Those remind me of El Perron's rims. Nice choice

06 M45 Sport
Wheel: Forgestar F14 Brushed Titanium
Wheel size: 20x9 Front & 20x10.5 Rear
Offset: +40(front) & +45(rear) ** according to the manufacturer..
Tire: Hancook V12 245/35/20 Front and 275/30/20 Rear
Suspension: Tein H techs didn't drop in the rear for some reason but the fronts dropped a little more than 1.5" since the springs are designed for the M35 not the M45. The rears stick out a little but when the car is loaded with passengers and luggage it becomes a little more flush. Maybe a different set of springs for the rear are in order but i wasn't sure if i could mix and match the brands. Ride is fine, no rubbing just bottoming out on speed bumps and low driveways.

wheels look good but that rear wheel with a 45et is sticking out too much, also rear tire looks small.

I would check the et on the rear wheels to to make sure what you have.

rear tire should be a 285/30 to match 245/35 side wall.

enjoy your new shoes :)

Can we even fit 285 back there without having to roll fenders, etc.?

I'm planning on running the 21" FX50's eventually. Do I need to do any modifications to my car in order to fit those? I will be lowered on Espelir's and running 245/35/21 tires. Can I go wider on the tires?

I am AWD, so I will be running the same size front and back. Can I go 255 or 265 without having rubbing issues while turning with the front wheels?

How can i check the ET on the rear wheel? I looked at the numbers stamped on the inside hub and no ET was noted.. I did a dry fit before i got the tires and it stuck out quite a bit. The fronts did as well but once set on the ground it tucked right in. I emailed the manufacturer about the amount it stuck out and 45 was what he told me the rear was when they shipped it. Is there a way to CNC the hub down a little without decreasing the strength of the wheel?

i dont think it looks bad, my rears are +25 n 10.5 and stick out more than your's and i think it looks good still. If it's stamped then I doubt it was by mistake so most likely it's +45.

what I was trying to say is to look behind the wheel and see if the offset or ET is stamped on. you might think you have a 45et but it is possible that you might have a 42 or even a 38et. I have seen this happen before.

it's better to check now instead of a few months later, it's also good to know what you have from the get-go.

my understanding is that 48et is for a wheel that is 10.5" wide

and 42et is for a wheel that is 10" wide

so when I look at your pic and I see the wheel stick out past the lip it doen't look like a 45et, it looks to have a lower et.

those that are not going the vip way (like me) shouldn't have wheels sticking out of the fenders. the key is to have the tire as close to the fender lip, without passing the lip. this also has to do with the size of the tire. I'll be running a 285/30 at the rear which is a match for the 245/35 at the front.

one of the first test I do when I buy new wheels & tires is to have 4 or 5 people in the car and go for a short ride to see if they rub. it's one of the reasons I always by local.

This is such a science.

So how wide can I go on front and rear on FX50's?

depends on tire brand, i just got 255/35/20 for my rims and they are skinnier than my 245's. If i would have known that I woulda put 265 or even 275 all the way around. How wide is the 21" FX?

I see you have mud guards on, do they bottom out or rub on speed bumps after you dropped the car?

I'll look again maybe this weekend, but i didn't notice anything stamped with "ET" #'s the last time i checked. I contacted the manufacturer to verify the ET for my rims and he said that according to his work order records the rear's were 45's. If they aren't, is there a way to CNC the hub down to make them less aggressive?

I don't think it's worth the money to get the wheels CNC 1 or 2mm unless your rubbing (if you can cut that much).

I was looking around and most 1 pcs wheels are 38, 42 or 45mm offset for the rear and 35, 38mm for the front (depending on the company).

funny is when you find a nice wheel most of the time the offset are wrong for the M.

Wheels are hard to pick online. That's why I've decided to stick to OEM most likely when I upgrade.

So that was that sound??? Nah, j/k... I havent dropped it yet, I just ordered the springs a couple of days ago... and as far as the mudguards, I thought every M had those things, like I didnt know that was extra stuff until you pointed it out. I started looking at some other M's and lo and behold, most didnt have these on... what package do they come on? The Premium "keep-my-car-mud-free" package?? Or is it just an option? Does anybody know...

P.S. They sit so high that I dont think they'll be a problem.

I recently purchase some 19x8.5 wheels that came off 2008 M45 Sport, the rims fit perfect on the back of the car, but I am having issues with getting them to fit on the front, I have been advised to get spacers and get some extended wheels stubs to make this set up work for me, I am not able to find any that will fit my car or do not even know what length to buy, guys please help me
