Cool hwhip. Nice JHG50. I see the headlights are that of the updated version. That's the connolly interior equipped one that was for sale in Alberta? I hope you have good luck maintaining an active president outside of Japan. Do you have the key case?

I have a president key case floating around somewhere. Is the connolly interior the one you can put your feet through the front seats?

Cool, what's it look like. And nah, there's a nowhere to put your feet, just a ton of room. Here's some interior pics.

It's cool seeing what people do to their cars. Gives Notre ideas for things I would want to do, and not. I got a Q45 1996 about two months ago at a price of $1,630. 121,327 mills at the time. Seemed to be maintained alright.

Stuff done, oil, air filter, oil filter, spark plugs, and a good cleaning.

Needs an oil pan replacement or fix, knock sensor, o2 sensor, and front end is a little bouncy on bumps.

As for customs going to add a window tint, and subs. Debating on getting a bypass to keep the oem radio or replace it with a custom as well.

This is my first post I'll have pictures when I can post on a computer. I was hoping I could directly post from my phone :-/

1991 President, don't know much about besides that it has a knock in the lower end and so will be pulling the engine shortly.

Unfortunately I don't have many pictures yet, I would like to get the body a little more presentable before I try to show it off. I love the colour as well, I'm not sure which pearl white it is but the car was originally metallic grey. I'm not sure which body kit it is either and am actually on the hunt for a new front bumper as the one pictured is damaged pretty much beyond repair.

o through a wierd series of events I no longer have my WRX and have picked up an Inifiniti Q45.

At first the plan was to daily it for a little while as its big and spacious and feels safe to have my daughter ride around in however I'm really starting to love this car.
So far its pretty standard except for a full bodykit, r33 calipers and slotted disks, SSR viennas and an exhaust system.

I intend to fix the car up as it has a few very obvious problems.

I started by giving the car a quick detail and removing several scratches, I've found that there are a few massive deep scratches on the car that I will be getting resprayed. There is also a huge one on the bonnet where some sad person obviously felt it needed a nice race stripe and scratched it in with their key, which is a shame because after washing, wet glossing and waxing the car you can see the amazing pearl through the paint.

I got to work on the interior and shampooed and cleaned all the seats and floor mats, installed most of my old sound system with bluetooth and hands free (about the only feature the car didn't have that cars today come out with and it is a 1990 model).

I fixed up lots of loose trims in the car and removed most trim and refitted it properly.

I polished up the rims but they will need to go in for repairs as there is slight kerb rash on some of them, Im considering either a machine polish or getting the spokes sprayed black but I haven't decided.

A few things I am sorting out over the next month:
* The bodykit and bonnet will be going in soon for repairs and respraying.
* Repair kerb rash on rims
* New Battery and immobilizer
* Tint

Other than that I have just had fun rolling around pretty much on the floor and then hitting the hydraulics as I go past the police and getting an instant lift kit! (Best factory item ever).

Also while I am at it does anyone know if there are any twin turbo kits available in Australia or have any links to custom builds? I'm throwing around the idea of twin turbo and manual conversion in the future once its tidied up.

Sweet rides everyone!! :dblthumb:
Seeing a lot of different things for different people.

This forum has been beyond helpful with my rebuild.

Q-Zilla and others boring out their engines and adding turbos is got me getting ideas on mine. Looking to get 600hp out of the VH on my 91. :mike

Anybody have a strut tower bar (preferably stillen) they are willing to part ways with?

Just bought suspension parts and looking to add that while I am putting everything else on.

My Q will be shown on here once I get everything as it should be.

Image
The two Qs I have. Both bone stock except for wheels.

Image
The one I'm looking to trick out...looking for different wheels also

Keep it up everyone! :woot:

That really sucks. Btw, how's the active suspension on your Q? Everything working properly? Does the car phone still work? :chuckle:
I too have a '94Q in excellent condition with the exact same mileage as yours. I'll post some pics soon when I get a chance..

The active suspension is a little odd feeling to drive, Like staying completely flat in a u turn in such a big car is strange along with high speed cornering its sure footed but hard to know if it's going to break loose very little feedback from car.
Everything is functional except the center stack passenger window switch. Also the phone does power on but not connected to service analog networks are hard to find these days but it will call 911 if you are in an emergency.

also i'm Looking for an other 04 g35 6mt sedan with less that 100k miles like the totaled one. If you have any idea where i could locate one. I would love to know.

Hey, that's pretty cool that it can still call 911. I always wanted a Q with a built-in car phone, just due to how rare it is. Although, I have to say I'm pretty happy with my Q for that exact reason. I have one of the rarest colors - Mulbury Frost Pearl Metallic. It's like a purple-ish grayish color. Definitely not something you see every day. The other cool thing about it is that it also has a super rare Stone leather interior with Smoke wood trim. I didn't even know Infiniti made smoke wood trim in the 94Qs until I found this one.

Check all the main sites - Autotrader, Cars.com, Ebay, Craigslist. You'll definitely find one eventually. Shouldn't be too hard, the G35 was such a high volume car. A lot of them still out there, unlike our old Qs :chuckle:

While finding a g35 is easy the manual sedan is a very rare one mine that got totaled was a sedan 6 speed and cloth with all other options only 5 special ordered like that.

Just recently purchased my 1994 Q45. It's apparently an A, but it doesn't have FAS or HICAS. Thank goodness too, I don't wanna convert/ruin one. But I think it's because it was an early Manufacture date at 04/93. Anyway, pics (all taken with a crap GS3, mind you):

Me and a buds S14 Zenki:
Image

Got it up on the lift at work:
Image

Replaced this with an extra i had at home, but was 10mm too narrow...
Image

The other side was looking kinda raggy so I replaced it as well to match the other one:
Image

looked underneath, and there are a few leaks, and mismatched f*** struts lol:
Image

I guess the driver's seat was redone lol:
Image

These tears in the center rear seat are common, or that's what my S14 friend told me...
Image

So far I've taken the suitcase off to at least make it sound like it's on and functioning lol it's like being in high school again :P

And I put on a My little pony drift charm. Huge brony over here. My other car has some light itasha sprinkled on the hood, and it's getting a full wrap as soon as it's painted.
Image

Build plans: fix all the broken s*** first. VIP fully functioning interior (f*** rear ash trays lol), drift/itasha exterior. Fender flares, 300ZX 5speed, turbo at 7-8 lbs, and 300ZX suspension until I can afford Q45-specific BCs. S13 rear arms and 300ZX front arms, front splitter, rear diffuser, flat floors, loud a** quad Boso pipes, big a** Rocket Bunny style wang, better brakes, and just overall craziness. It's gunna be great lol

Jumping in again.....
Bought my second Q45 about 2 weeks ago.
That means I've owned 2 of about 150(ish) in the country!
First one was a JDM import (1990)
The new (to me) one is an AUDM car (1 of 100)
Parts were already hard to find 10 years ago, now it's worse!
