94-97 honda accord lights. They fit the opening in the sil front the closest of any junk yard light I could find. It required minimal trimming and a patch panel welded in. Now if/when I damage the front end all I have to do is make a trip to my local u-pull it yard instead of shopping around for a deal on some already busted silvia lights.

^I like it.
Haters are probably going to hate, but for a drift setup, I think that's brilliant.

No offense but that ugly as hell. Wouldnt it have just been easier to keep the flip ups on or atleast use Stanza lights?

Indeed he did.
The guy would come over on the weekends and solder LEDs in my living room. Or come over to have my friend Rob and I swap a turbo, up-pipe, wastegate w/ dump tube, and EBCS...Dan helped of course. Plenty of long nights and hard work. I'm glad it paid off for him and he got what he went for!

thank you also andy :)

I remember the first time I was soldering an 'A'-pillar in the living room... you gave me a look of :wtf2: are you doing

and then rob was like- dude... why?

and then I lit it up for the first time, and e'rbody was like =DAAAAYYYUUMMMMMM :dblthumb:

haha :D

Honestly tho- if I never met you guys, i'd deff still own the REX, but the mods that have been done to it would not have been as much... ESP the turbo swap. I might have at a later point. but without your knowledge, my researching would only have gotten so far. plus you have the tools of champions lol so for that, I say thank you :)

imagine if I still had the alti coupe... what an insane interior I would have made inside that... :X lol :gotme

Be sure to mark your calendar for next year's event: May 10-11, 2014. It'll be our 8th!

Gotta give major props: All the drifters did a great job throughout the weekend despite less than ideal weather. I thought that big last drift run Sunday with the group of cars on track at the same time was particularly awesome. :dblthumb:

And where else can you see a bada$$ Lincoln Mark VIII drift car in action? Very cool and a hoot to watch.

One of my highlights was hopping in Joels car for a run on the track, and him telling me "...you know, you're only the third person ever to drive this car. Now push that button over there that says ESC OFF and let's go!"

That and driving Seth's car. "You are way more aggressive than I am, especially through the front slalom. I still can't get the 'I have to pay for this if I wreck it' notion out of the back of my mind"

Riding 3 deep in the Miata on the way to the track was fun too, until we went to middlesex diner and I felt like I was going to explode with abs on my lap going over bumps on the way to the track. I still think she should have flashed the military convoy that drove by :)

no...I understand. It just seems like alot of work just because o headlights. He had to put alot of work into that hood and as for the fenders, Im sure that wasnt a quick job either. I dont know...just doesnt seem that practical to me. If headlights were that important I would just take them out while drifting. just my opinion.

Yeah we almost got pulled over WITHOUT me pulling any stunts; I'm pretty glad I didn't do anything dumb! ;-)

Next year, I drive myself to Carlisle and we don't have to worry about going 3 deep!
