If you wait to see the completed deul projectors, you probably wont be able to get in on this group buy. Brandon expects all the slots to be filled by the end of the week, and I wouldn't doubt that. There are only 13 spots left, and probably 100 people that really want to do this. So its going to come down to who ever has the balls to pull the trigger.

I'm not worried about 'missing out'. Brandon makes money by making these, although not much as he is offering a great price, but everyone needs to stay in business.

I don't see this as much of a Group Buy persay. This is more custom on a customer per customer level so there is much more to it.

If people are interested after all "25" spots are filled up, I'm sure Brandon will still be taking orders for those folks. Whether or not he changes the price is his call.

It's pure economics. He has a great price, if he keeps it about there he can continue to make money over time. Rushing into getting custom headlights done is not the smartest thing to do, unless you are chancing the prototype. Again, I respect whatever course you want to take, but I just don't feel any pressure in making any form of deposit just yet. I have yet to see a completed product that I want. Soon enough, soon enough. Looking great so far though.

Maxentropy- I respect that you don't want to rush into this, and that is your decision. Brandon probably will do a few more sets after the group buy, but it probably wont be for the same price. So you might pay a little more, but you will be 100% sure on what you are getting.

I know the feeling. I was painfully close to pulling the trigger, but then I realized my car insurance is due. Doesn't seem very fiscally responsible to spend my car insurance money on headlights. As much as I wouldn't mind driving around without insurance, I seem to be developing into a cop magnet, so my car would be impounded in no time.

Hey guys, sorry it took so long to confirm everything, ive been working away on spare sets of lights here, getting them apart, getting the bowls cut and preped. i came online and checked paypal and was like that cant be right where did all this money come from lol.Anyways i know some people are not getting in on the groupbuy because they think im going to be doing this after. To be honest i probably wont touch a pair of altima lights again after this groupbuy is over, its the same thing as the kickplates, do a run with them and call it, keeps things unique keeps the price lower and works out for the community. i wouldnt feel right after the groupbuy to charge someone $800+ for a set of lights that they could have got in the group buy for $400. When we do work over at the subaru club its usually about $700 for a low beam setup only and it takes 2 hours to do both headlights where as an altima coupe we charge $400 for the same setup and it takes about a day to a day and a half. so after this that will be it guys. Now lets get this groupbuy filled

Well, looks like when I come up with the funds I'll be tackling this project on my own. To be honest, I kind of like trying to work these things out on my own. Brandon, it looks like you'd do a much better job than I would (and much faster at that), but there's really only one way to learn. I'm willing to sacrifice upwards of 40 hours if I need to. That'll be the fun of the project!

Plus if they mess up there lights. (knock on wood) Then you can get rid of those extra sets you are going to have. lol If you dont want to give away your trade secrets, then maybe you could just email a write up to the guys who want to try and have been active in thread.

ok guys thursday is going to be a hectic day so im going to appologize in advance if i dont respond to emails until later on in the day. Spock left his car here for the night while i put in some demon eyes and leds and make some final adjustments, also im going to be finishing up doms lights and hopefully get one light of the dual projector setup done as ive already got the light apart, plan to get everything done but the shrouds just to get a jump on it before the customer sends in his car. i should have pictures up of everything tomorrow and some night shots as well so for the people still waiting to see them youl get an idea of whats going on, however doms shrouds wont be in until friday morning so that will be missing from the pics as i had to overnight them from china lol
