Off the line acceleration

Stock '91 240sx hatchback. 5 spd ka24de. 210,000km.Issue:When pulling away from a stop, acceleration is "lurchy", notsmooth until around 20mph then pulls just fine. Have cleaned throttlebody butterfly and removed MAF for insp. Looks fine. Seems to have helped some. Still there just enough to be annoying.Do these MAF'sdrift from spec with time? Am I overlooking something else? Otherwiseruns like a swiss watch. Fuel, and air filter both new.
