Hi everyone. I drive 2005 Infiniti G35. Couple months ago i tried to pass state inspection but the OBD II port on my car did not communicate with the computer in the shop, so i was not able to pass the inspection. Does anybody now what the problem is?

Thank you. Tod

I wonder if perhaps the inspection station did not have it properly inserted?

Go back again and ask for a supervisor

I don't think there is something wrong with the inspection station because on the next day i tried with another shop and i had the same problem.

I'd try a different shop...I've never had a problem with either of my G's. We have emission testing in my county.

Issue with the car then...maybe a pin on the OBDII port is broken?

The cable that comes with the Actron has a db15 male connector that plugs into the top of the Actron.

If you have a breakout box plug the db15 into it with the other end connected into the OBDII port.
That cable has 12v and ground among onther connections. I' assume one or more connection has an open
