Welcome to NICO! Glad you've found us.

Here's what the code means:

P1447 - EVAP Emission Control System Purge Flow Monitoring

I'm not exactly sure what this is referring to, though...the PCV maybe? Hopefully someone better at diagnostics will pop in soon. Sorry I can't be of more help.

My code shows tells me it'sfor the EVAP purge flow monitor fault...I own a 97 Maxima 3.0..

P1447 = 0111

Diagnostic Trouble Code 0111 is detected when ...
- EVAP control system does not operate properly.
- EVAP control system has a leak in the line between intake manifold and EVAP control system pressure sensor.

Possible causes include ...
- EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve stuck closed.
- EVAP control system pressure sensor and its circuit.
- Loose, disconnected, or improper connection of rubber tube.
- Blocked rubber tube.
- Blocked or bent rubber tube to MAP/BARO switch solenoid valve.
- Cracked EVAP canister.
- EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve.
- Closed Throttle Position Switch.
- Improper connection of one-way valve.
- Blocked purge port.
- EVAP canister vent control valve.

This is a "jackpot" code. It points to so many possible causes as to be almost useless. It may be accompanied by another DTC which is more specific.

During purge, the Evap Canister is connected to intake manifold via the Evap Canister Purge Valve but the Pressure Sensor is not seeing enough pressure drop, resulting in the trouble code. Check the Evap Canister and tubes/connectors for leak/crack/loose fitting. Mark each tubing before disconnecting as wrong connections will make it more complicated. If Evap Canister and connections are are good, you may have to replace the Evap Canister Purge Control Solenoid Valve.
