NX 1600 stalling help please

Hi,

I have a 1992 NX 1600, 125,000 km. It is in good shape with a K&N air filter.Lately as I slow down with the clutch in the car stalls on me. I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what advice I might get... thanks all.

Does it do it when you don't downshift to engine brake?

If I downshift then it's usually ok. It really only happens when I slow down quickly and don't downshift with the clutch in (or in netral).

I am also getting a crazy fluctuation in my rpm's when I am stopped (sometimes). I read a post that said it was happening due to the brake fluid reservoir, so I topped it up but haven't really driven much since.
