Not really that weird. One has nothing to do with the other, just which ever one wears out first. Not that bad either, for a set of Tein tie rod ends is like $80. But I still have time on it (I hope ). I think I'm gonna be ordering strut bars next week.

I just got my strut bars yesterday; got the DC Sports bars from vividracing.com. Hopefully, the car will feel less like jello hopping over the bumps in that lot.

How much did you pay? I'm prolly gunna ebay it, but not those $20 bars that looks like they were made at home depot. I saw a front and rear for like $120 (Not 100% about the price), it was a no name brand, but it was the tri-vent ones. Where' they have the little bit of reinforcement on the inside, not just a round tube.

Plus the front looked angled, to clear the valve cover, the other's are just a straight bar.

If I were you, I would get a triangulated bar that connects to the firewall in addition to the strut towers. The only reason I didn't do that is because it's not allowed in autocross, but that would be the stiffest.

The DC Sports bars are $120 each. I was looking for a one piece steel bar to have it as stiff as possible, and that was pretty much the only thing out there.

Dat and I are going to meet up tonight. Sorry about the short notice; I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to install my water pump before tonight. Anyway, as usual White Castle on rt. 17 at 10pm.

We're meeting up tomorrow night as well, same time and place.

I'll bring my camera and hope that it works.

Steve, I'm pretty sure a 225/60 will rub on the struts in the front. It would be fine on the rear.

To explain last night would take many pages of writing, so here are some pictures and video.

Rich's wheel breaks off

Mark on the ground from the car sliding on the rotor

Trying to put wheel back on

Realizing all studs are broken or stripped

Waiting for tow truck

Still waiting for tow truck

Dat doing donuts while still waiting for tow truckhttp://youtube.com/watch?v=9T96GMAGI7M

Hit the tire jackpot

Flattened Exhaust Tip

Rich is going to need to fill up on gas a little more often now

Let's do it again tonight (9:30pm White Castle again). Hopefully we can do more than one turn though.

I really wanna replace my studs and lugs now. That civic and 3000gt were funny, dumb kids and 'sporty' cars.

Still on for tonight? Can someone, again bring a jack?

You're damn right it's the end of a beautiful era; I've been coming to the Meadowlands since July... lol.

Anyway, for those that weren't there, we have officially been kicked out of Meadowlands by the police (not security this time... haha) forever.

Let's get back on track and continue researching how to set up legal events. Does anyone have Travis's number (the guy that posted on here a long time ago about a lot in north Jersey)? I think he said he was talking to the owner of that lot, but then he just stopped posting.

In the meantime, if we do continue to visit spots on the weekends, we need to be much more careful about picking lots to make sure that we don't have a repeat of tonight. I think we just got too cocky since we've been doing this for several weeks and nothing too bad has happened.

No, we didn't get tickets. He recorded our info so that he could mail us tickets if we're ever seen there again.

I thought for sure I was getting a ticket. He said to me 'I didn't see your buddies here doing donuts, but I saw you.'....damn it. Thank god he just gave us warnings.

I'll post a pic later of my curb tap. I can't stand that, anyone know of anyone who can fix it?

I didn't even see them come in, I was still doing my little 180's and finally realized they were stopped by you guys! But yeah, its been 2 consecutive nights that the we and the po-lice have met. I'm glad we all got away without any fines but its sucks that we can't go back there EVER AGAIN! It was a huge lot......

Yeah, when the first cop came over, he told me and Dat, "You two are lucky because I didn't see you doing anything, but your friends aren't getting away that easy," or something like that. What an a**.

Good thing he didn't see Dat and I drifting behind each other and side by side. He probably would have accused us of "drift racing."

Do you mean fix the wheel? What broke?

LoL

Not sure what I bent yet, I'll find out tomorrow when I throw her on the lift at work. I mean to fix the curbiness of my wheel. Sorry to go picless, it was one of those days where you don't feel like doing anything.

He said he was watching us for like ten of fifteen min, but mavrick and my run wasn't 10 min long...but he said I was the only one he saw...when mavrick was running the same time I was...go figure. His brain is glazed over from all those donuts.

Haha... That was a weird moment. I wasn't sure whether I should laugh at his joke or stay quiet.
