OK, what did I do wrong? I've rebuilt the engine and have everything back together and the engine turns over easy, but it won't start. I've checked the fuel pressure and it is good. I've checked that cylinders are getting spark and all are but one. There's a problem obviously, but one cylinder won't keep it from starting. What did I do wrong?

It's a VE30DE engine by the way.

You rebuilt the engine and don't know how to time it? That doesn't make a lot of sense.

How to time the engine (provided it is, in fact, the VE30DE) properly can be found about half way down on page EM-59. http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/maxima/1994/em.pdf

I would also fix the problem with it not firing on all cylinders.

Yeah, that didn't make sense. What I meant is how do you time an engine that doesn't start. The marks are in the correct alignment by the way.
