could be few things, bad sparkplugs, bad coil is very common as well as bad ignitor.

My money is on either a bad ignitor or coil.Swap coils from one cylinder to another and if you still don't have spark, your ignitor is fried, a 1987-1988 nissan pulsar with ca16de or ca18de engine has the same identical ignitor.

Also double check your wirings.

You don't want to do that as they are not cheap. I have one if you need one or go to your local junkyard and get one out of a pulsar or Q45.

I can Vouch for Dees ignitors since he bought mine, they worked perfectly so if its ignitor than Dee can help you out.
