Hey everyone!
I'm working on a 1990 300zx TT. The car will run on starting fluid, but it seems I'm not getting power to the fuel pump or fuel gauge (the gauge reads like super empty... nada). I swapped relays with one from a known working car and the fusible link by the battery seems in tact.

The previous owner had stripped the interior out so maybe something is unplugged? Any suggestions on the subject/where to find fuel pump wiring connectors would be appreciated. So far this circuit seems to be the only one not working in the car... tail lights and antenna work ok.

I have spark, no fuel pressure, no power to pump (checked with multimeter) :wtf2:

I am only familiar with the two connectors in plain view under the tray. I have read that the fuel pump control unit can be an issue with power to the pump but I have no direct experience in that area.

My fuel pump appears to have crapped out. Would you describe how you checked for power to the pump? I'm not sure which connections to test between the two plugs. Thanks

The fuel pump relay is behind the kick panel (hood latch pull) driver's side, it is GREEN.

theres 2 control units behind the drivers seat, the smaller of the two units on mine had a burnt connection, i guess its pretty common. i sottered it back together and good as new. the unit controls the 3 stages of the fuel pump, most likely the idle stage is the bad pin!

hope this helps
