So about a week ago I drove my Z only about a block, parked it came back outside to leave and when I tried to start it I heard a really bad grind (starter grinding flywheel I'm assuming) but after that happened I noticed that my car lost all power, no headlights no dash lights nothing. Started checking fuses and the battery fusible link was only a fusible link that the guy before me put in. Got an OEM one out it in and had power for about 2 days but the car still wouldn't start. Tried to see if it still had power and nothing, got another battery fusible link incase the other one burned out and still nothing. Battery is completely charged so I'm just stuck on what could cause a complete power loss

Alternator? alternator belt? Bearings inside the alternator can go bad causing the alternator to seize and most likely throw the belt. The tensional can also seize and do much the same thing. Have a look at the alternator belt, if it's gone check the tensioner and alternator for free spinning action. Have a look at the alternator, i've seen them work loose after someone replaces one and fails to torque the bolts.
