Nissan Short Bed and Long Bed Differences

What are the differences Between The short beds and long beds? i am asking this because I have to haul a full bed of fire wood for the winter season Like does the long bed model D21 Handle more weight? how much longer is the bed in the long bed than the short bed?

The long bed is 7ft instead of the standard 6.5ft. It has more capacity but the load weight is determined by the rear leaf springs. The beds do not interchange, neither does the king cab bed. If you are hauling heavy things you may want to have a spring shop add a leaf to your spring pack for added load capability.
