Man that would make no since for Canadian Rogues. Seems that AWD would be the prefered choice in that climate.

it's worth a try. i read the requirements and the application form, nowhere does it distinguish if it's a FWD or an AWD.

these are the only info they need:- whether the vehicle is purchased or leased; - if leased, the duration of the lease in months; - whether the vehicle is new or a demo; - the make, model and year of the vehicle; - the vehicle identification number (VIN) of the vehicle; - whether the vehicle is a hybrid; - the engine size (litre size) of vehicle; - the number of cylinders of the vehicle; - the transmission type of the vehicle: manual, automatic or continuously variable; - the fuel type: indicate if the vehicle is equipped to use gasoline, flex fuel (combination of gasoline and ethanol) or diesel; - the purchase date: This is the date marked on the sales or lease agreement or the delivery date of the vehicle.

Its definitely only the FWDhttp://www.tc.gc.ca/programs/e...y.htm

I'd assume because the AWD is less fuel efficient is the reason. The point of the rebate is for cars meeting certain targets for fuel efficiency.
