Finally! It seems Nissan is shaking off the dust and getting back into the major racing arenas outside of Japan again. I guess they got tired of watching Porche taking the podiums in their absence from racing lol. It's time to see them in more then just Prototype racers *fingers crossed*.

"Lucas Ordoñez, winner of the inaugural Nissan and PlayStation GT Academy competition in 2008, will demonstrate once again the success of the innovative gamer-to-racer competition when he lines up on the grid of the famous Le Mans 24 Hours this year. The 25-year-old Spaniard will contest the full Intercontinental Le Mans Cup in 2011 behind the wheel of a Nissan-powered LMP2 car for the Signatech Nissan team."

So weird, you never hear of Forza players turning to professional race car drivers with major factory backing.....

Have you played Forza? Physics in that game is about as real as Mario able to fly with a raccoon tail. Gran Turismo has always felt better behind a good force feedback wheel than Forza. Of course, real life is still better. Plus Sony (Playstation) and Polyphony Digital (Gran Turismo) are the sponsors of the yearly event for Gran Turismo online racing challenges and time trials. The winners are picked out and tossed into professional racing schools to race for Sony partnered race teams.

Le Mans and F1. This should be a bumper year for Nissan. Anywhere we finish will be good but I'm hoping for excellent, a podium maybe? Is it on Speed, I know the F1 series is. Where would Le Mans be?
