new press release, says Nissan & some phone manufacturer (which I haven't heard of) are making a new phone that can act as a keyfob & engine start/stop.

could be cool, but does it work with all 350zs ?!

It won't work with Any 350z's. They never came with the intelligent key option.

Regardless, how labor intensive is it to stick a key into an ignition?

I was worrying about something MORE dangerous...

If your phone can unlock the doors and start the engine... imagine LOSING the phone!

A lot of people are prone to losing or misplacing thier phones, and God forbid you happen to lose it next to your car.

You would need a key to start it in the first place. If you start your car, walk away from it and ends up getting stolen, you deserve it for being a moron. What he's trying to say is that the phone acts as a smart key as well. So this idea is only for the cars equipped with the push start. I quess I don't have to worry about it.

I think it is just as easy to loose your keys, to not only your car, but your house and anything else you own with a lock as it is to loose your cell phone.
