newbie here i have a 1994 nissan gloria/ cedric vg30det auto and want to do a manual conversion would any1 know how or any1 done it do i need a z31 or would a z32 tt manual box do and bits from a 300zx thanks for any help!!!

im after doing the same thing,
i have just bought a nissan cedric gt y33
and its an auto!
so i need to know as much information as anybody can give me
im looking to use a 300zx manual conversion kit
i am told by a good sorce that it will bolt up but not everything will fit
i can make a few things up and get a propshaft made up any1 any ideas

well i have the maual conversion kit know i will let you know how i get on in the coming month or 2

It would be the same as doing a Z32 TT auto/manual conversion. I had a 1993 Gloria with the VG30DET and the transmission part number was the same as an auto Z32 TT

Hey mate, just been reading the convo above. Curious how you got on? I've got a Y33 Gloria and looking at doing the 300zx manual conversion aswell. I've found a source who claims to have all the parts needed, I need to make sure I've covered all my bases!

Same here.

From what I have read the main trouble is the gearbox mount but it doesn't seem to be a major pain in the a**?
Definitely keen to see how DJ Sparko got on
