If we all drove what Jalopnik wanted us to drive, we'd all be driving around $150,000.00 dollar cars right now.
I mean, I wouldn't expect any less from them when they review the Cube.
They are a car person site, viewed by people into cars. The Cube doesn't accelerate real fast, it doesn't corner or brake super well. It is just roomy, gets good gas mileage and is comfortable. It does what most everyone else is looking for in a car.
Besides, I don't need someone else telling me what kind of car I want. The author(s) of that review may not like it but that is there perogative. If I did a review of the Cube, I'd give the Cube a lot of Praise.
