Nissan Altima 2011 Problem

My check engine light comes on every now and
then the car runs sluggish like I'm not getting
enough gas, I have to pull over turn car off then
restart

Before anything else, gonna need to plug in a scanner and see what the code is.

They're cheap, and everyone should own one. However, if you don't want to buy one, AutoZone or other auto parts stores will scan it for free. Write down the codes (all of them) and post 'em up. We can walk you through from there!

Where is valve location

Those codes together usually mean either a bad evap Vent Valve or a bad Vent Valve o-ring. The valve is located in one end of the evap canister.

IIRC it's on the driver's side, but on the gen4's it's tucked up behind the sway bar. You have to remove the clamps and swing the bar out of the way to get at it.
