Alright, forgive the newbieness of this question, but I was just wondering what are some of the better manufacturers of Aftermarket performance parts for Nissan's? Some names i've seen thrown around the boards lately are Greddy, Eibach, Stillen, and of course Nismo. I'm still a pretty new 240 and Nissan owner in general so just some advice on where I should go for some 'real' performance would be appreciated. ^_^ Oh, and just as a note, I'm trying to aim for getting my suspension and brakes top notch before I do anything under the hood.

p.s. Anyone know of any body kits designed for the s13 coupe? I've seen plenty for the fastback but never anything for the coupe other than custom jobs...

Veilside make body kits for the coupe. Apexi for a catback exhaust, for headers hotshot are the best, Unorthodox or ASP for pullies, fidanza for the flywheel, ACT for the clutch and B&M for short shifter. That is just to start.

do-luck IMO makes the best kits for 240's. at least for s14's, i dunno about s13's. and yes what he said about the best company products to get is all right.

Wow! some of those body kits are awesome! Didn't realize you could get the coupe to look so rice ^_^ Heh, body kits definitely one of the last things I do (once I get an sr20 under the hood, gotta have the performance to back the looks you know?) Maybe I'll get something once I do the silvia front end conversion with a front side intercooler. Thats all way in the future though. About some of those upgrades that were mentioned, are all of them transferable once I upgrade to an sr20det? I'm really anxious about buying anything for my Ka24e then just having to scrap it once I go sr20. Thanks alot for all the input guys!

the exhaust, but i doubt the others. since your going SR, buy an exhaust with 3'' pipes, and save up for the motor and its accesories. dont waste your time modding the KA if your just going to get rid of it. plus, youll have the money quicker, or more, when you dont mod the KA.

brembo for brakes, or a 300zx conversion.for suspension, the best is full coilover. i personally dont need that much adjustability (and dont have the cash) for that, so im going spring/strut combo, eventually.

My auto-head friend was saying that a coilover setup can be a little too rough for street cars. He was saying how he rode in a friends car with a coilover setup and the car hugged curves like crazy, but you felt every little bump on the road... I'm thinking I'll probably opt for a spring/strut setup also, but not exactly sure who to go with. Eibach seems the most popular for springs but I'm hearing that Nismo makes some sort of spring/strut setup also... go Nismo! ^^

yeah crappy coilovers or part of a coilover kit i.e: coilovers that need camber kits, ride like poopy. if you want a coilover set-up go wit JIC or Tein or you can just go wit tokico shocks wit eibach springs.
