Makes no sence to me. Where did you get this info. We have a 3 year, 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warrarty with no deductable. That of coarse does not include ware items.mmyye wrote:I've been told that nissan's 3 years 36000 miles. warranty, is only good for the 1 yr and 12000 miles. after that, but before 3 yrs and 36000 miles, if u got any problem nissan deal will charge u $140 to address the problem. is that true for all nissan's warranty?
Financial Manager = add-on services salesperson and you know you can trust a salesperson.mmyye wrote:first of all, thanks for all the replies.
i got those information from my dealer where i got my car, the financial manager wants me to add 5 years extended warranty for 2000 bucks, and told me that. i feel that's not right too, that's why i'm posting here.
so there's no such thing, she just want to sell me the package!!!
i got my car at capitol nissan in san jose california.
First of all, if your buying an extended warrarty, try nissanwarranties.com Get a price quote and ask your selling dealership to match the cost. Now I paid for mine 0 deductable 5 year, 100,000 mile warrenty, $1410.00. This was bought at the same time as the car. Later I found out about a service warranty was offered and bought that at the dealership. I ask them to match it and they did. This was d!ck Scott Nissan in Canton Michigan. No financial manager should be requiring you to buy anything unless you really want it. I hope this was helpfull...mmyye wrote:first of all, thanks for all the replies.

Yup, come to think about it, the dealer told me that had done the protection package and had added it to the cost and I told them that I did not request and that I wasn't paying for it, so they took the extra cost off. I highly doubt they actually did it.EZ300 wrote:i just got the car this past Saturday and it came with full protection(rust, paint, and interior) and extended warranty for less than 2K. they offer it to you but you do NOT have to take it. that's a BS sales pitch.
total lie don’t trust them that’s what they told me but in my case they said bank requested that I get extended warranty otherwise they would not finance I purchased warranty and next day I called my bank and they just laughed ! if you don’t feel like buying warranty just don’t do it they would try all the tricks to get as much as possible from your pocket ! But any way for $ 2000 you get bumper to bumper coverage for 5 years or 76.000 miles and its $ 50 deductiblemmyye wrote:first of all, thanks for all the replies.

Try nissanextendedwarranty.com They will have a much better deal for you. Mine only cost 1410.00 for a 0 deductable, 100,000 mile warranty. I brought the offer to my dealership and they matched it. Try it !!shavimusha wrote:total lie don’t trust them that’s what they told me but in my case they said bank requested that I get extended warranty otherwise they would not finance I purchased warranty and next day I called my bank and they just laughed ! if you don’t feel like buying warranty just don’t do it they would try all the tricks to get as much as possible from your pocket !
