I've been told that nissan's 3 years 36000 miles. warranty, is only good for the 1 yr and 12000 miles. after that, but before 3 yrs and 36000 miles, if u got any problem nissan deal will charge u $140 to address the problem. is that true for all nissan's warranty?

I don't know where you got your info, but that makes no sense.

I just traded in my Murano with 47K miles for my Rogue, and I never had any problems getting warranty items on my Murano serviced for FREE all the way up to my 36K.

Makes no sence to me. Where did you get this info. We have a 3 year, 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warrarty with no deductable. That of coarse does not include ware items.

The 12 month/12,000 miles thing applies to wearable items. For exapmple, Nissan will not replace your brake pads over 12,000 because of wear and tear. Lights also apply to this. However, if your transmission takes a crap with 35,999 miles on it, it will be covered under warranty.

Thats the way it is on most other cars anyways.

Financial Manager = add-on services salesperson and you know you can trust a salesperson.

I believe the transmission would be covered under the Nissan 5Yr/60,000 Mile powertrain warranty. I know it is 6 yrs/70,000 miles on my G35. Hope this helps.

First of all, if your buying an extended warrarty, try nissanwarranties.com Get a price quote and ask your selling dealership to match the cost. Now I paid for mine 0 deductable 5 year, 100,000 mile warrenty, $1410.00. This was bought at the same time as the car. Later I found out about a service warranty was offered and bought that at the dealership. I ask them to match it and they did. This was d!ck Scott Nissan in Canton Michigan. No financial manager should be requiring you to buy anything unless you really want it. I hope this was helpfull...

i just got the car this past Saturday and it came with full protection(rust, paint, and interior) and extended warranty for less than 2K. they offer it to you but you do NOT have to take it. that's a BS sales pitch.

Yup, come to think about it, the dealer told me that had done the protection package and had added it to the cost and I told them that I did not request and that I wasn't paying for it, so they took the extra cost off. I highly doubt they actually did it.

total lie don’t trust them that’s what they told me but in my case they said bank requested that I get extended warranty otherwise they would not finance I purchased warranty and next day I called my bank and they just laughed ! if you don’t feel like buying warranty just don’t do it they would try all the tricks to get as much as possible from your pocket ! But any way for $ 2000 you get bumper to bumper coverage for 5 years or 76.000 miles and its $ 50 deductible

Try nissanextendedwarranty.com They will have a much better deal for you. Mine only cost 1410.00 for a 0 deductable, 100,000 mile warranty. I brought the offer to my dealership and they matched it. Try it !!
