- Car: 1990 nissan 300zx wont go into gear when you press brake no click windows not working indicators not working brake lights not working played around then worked now stopped working again
nissan 1990 300z
have 300z 1990 somethin electrical going wrong auto not shift into gear brake lights gone off power windows not working indicators not working played around with some wire not sure what made everything work but now not working any help could it be brake switch any one know thanks

I have run across a few cars lately, from the 90's, when the brake lights stopped working, the auto will not shift out of park. This is a safety feature for a lot of cars.
Start with the brake switch
There is also a little green box by I think the driver tail light, behind the paneling inside the "trunk" area. This is known to go out or cause issues.
Check fuses
Like Rogue stated, there is a FSM under "everything you need to know about Z32". Look under that and search, but electrical issues suck no matter how you look at it.
