I was cruising through courtesy nissan of texas' site today searching around, and POW i find nismo 248 deg cams. Tell me now if any at all have these babies installed or what, your opinion is gold. I was a bit skep about these cause i remember something about the 91 cams being similar... i cant find it on search. The $400 price isnt bad though for new cams.

Do a search for cams, from me, as Ive pointed out what the stages Ive done and their effects where. I still need to try a 248-248, and a 248-240 (stock pinned, but swapped from one side to the other and realigned on the chain). I gave what others say about them in my responce though...

Im running a 248-232 (s13 exh and s14 exh) right now btw, and am itching for a 248 exhaust to drop in as I already did the hard part of putting the 248 exhaust on the intake side with some slight re-alignmnet... But I would have spent about 150$ if I find another cam, and will have a spare 240-232-232 set hehe... I couldnt swallow 400 man.

1st, Nissan Motorsports USA is not NISMO (Pet peeve of mine...)

But the 248/248 cams are in fact 2 S13 exhaust cams, one re-pinned for intake use.

Makes the car VERY fun to drive as compared to S14 cams.

A friend in town has a set - Made 159rwhp with Injen, HS Header, ASP pulley, GReddy PE exhaust, and the cams. Not too shabby...

I like driving his car - It revs out to 7k easily, and pulls hard all the way from 3k and up.

A little low end loss, but not too bad...

Later - BRian
