Do I need to hook up a pressure gauge and set up the FPR, or is it set correctly from Nissan? I don't have a problem doing it, It's just that the gauge setup I would use to test the pressure isn't something that I could leave on there so I'd have to take it on an off.

I would just get a gauge. Just put it inline on the return line where it comes out the back of the manifold. You can get a basic oil filled gauge for $15-20 off ebay and a NPT barbed T-fitting for a couple $.

Yes, you'll need to hook a gauge and set the FPR to your desired setting.

tighten it down until you are throwing fireballs and then back it off a 1/4 turn

36.3 pressure differential.. so basically hotwire the fuel pump on (take out its relay and jumper the switched pins), and put the key to on so it runs continuously and you can easily adjust it until you get it right. err on the high side if not too sure (i.e. 37)

at idle it should be showing around 27-29 or so psi but trying to adjust from idle is not an exact science, do it right.

As Sehn said, trying to set it while the motor is running is practically impossible. Simply hotwire the fuel pump, remove the vac line, and adjust it till your gauge reads 36.3 psi. My gauge isn't that accurate, so I'll adjust to 36-37psi. With the SDS I can adjust accordingly if I'm off.

Excellent--Thank you
