awesome

here's what my wife and i did. nothing too spectacular. i did the diamond star, wife did the nissan logo. just practicing. i'm hoping to carve some more tonight.

we grew these pumpkins:

we have another couple we're going to try to get finished up tonight or tomorrow night. notice the great big one in the chair...

I had to put her down . At over a week old she was becoming a health hazard. The whole inside had become a black mold sanctuary. I let her go in style... like retiring ol' glory after she touched the ground.

no!

we bought that one. we grew the little pumpkins. i think in total we had seven from the garden. gave 4 to nieces and nephews, carved these two, and michelle is going to carve the last small one tonight or tomorrow well i try to do something cool with the big one.

i'm going to keep a handful of seeds from the monster pumpkin and try to grow some of those next year. the place we got that big pumkin though, had GIANT pumkins - like 2' diameter and larger. they only wanted $10-$15 for them! maybe next year i'll get one and try to get on this carving thing a little sooner.

Wow dude. No reason to freak out... I just wanted to post the 240sx.org car so people could see your pumpkin by the real car.

I wish I could join the contest, but I don't know where to find a pumpkin in Iraq...

I had interpreted it as you calling me out on my design. However I know miscommunication is a problem on the internet, which is why I had aploigized already if your intentions were in fact good. "you didnt carve your own car" sounded a tad condescending. I didn't mis interpret "hey nice work on the 240sx.org car". Any who I'll apoligize again. Sorry.

Actually I was going to call you out and say "wheres your contribution to this pumpkin contest" but I guess you explained it.
