I don't know if this has been posted before, (I searched and read the FAQ), but I need to know *which* NGK plugs to get for a totally stock 1990 5spd coupe? For example, on my MR2, I used the BKR7E. I just want to know what the owner's manual or shop manual (I have neither) recommends. Also, are NGK wires any different than getting OEM wires at a dealer? Are they better or worse? Most cars I've seen run best on factory plug wires, and aftermaket ones tend to be worse...

Thanks,Mike

I dont know the exact part number but just get the NGK V plugs. I know that pep boys carry them. All I know are that the ultra spark wires suck! um.....I have Accel wires I got from enjuku which so far are pretty good.

NGK V Power TR6 or TR 55.

They are cold plugs in platinum for cars without boost or Nitrous still desiring performance.

For people who come across this thread by searching, this is the part number I was looking for:

NGK ZFR5E-11

That is the stock replacement copper plug for the 89-90 12 valve 240SX.For those of you with the 91-98 16 valve engine, the part is:

NGK BKR6E-11

These are normal copper plugs (not iridium or platinum, which I consider to be a waste of money).
