has anyone figured out how to make a newer style nissan mafs like whats in the 350z where the sensor can be unbolted from the housing.. work with older chassis's ex. s13/s14...so if i had a newer style mafs and an safc2 has anyone figured out the pin in/out setting for them? just curious. they are a dime a dozen around here i have 4 individual sensors and would like to try and put them to good use... thanx

Do you have cars that run and drive smoothly? If so then I would just leave them on the shelf in the garage. As far as I know its not possible, however, even if it is possible it doesn't seem like worth doing. Benefits?

well considering i am useing a stock ka mafs... i want to upgrade, i have used z32 in the past but dont currently have one handy, i have the newer style laying around, it is currently in a 3inch tube so its the same as a z32 diameter, so why buy a z32 if someone has figured out how to use the newer style... just curious is all!

Are you running boost? Because otherwise there is really no reason to do so. :gotme

Probably no use in doing it. Only reason people change MAFs is for more air flow and Z32/Cobra/Lightning are common and easy.

Could do about any MAFs if you can find a tune or use a SAFC for it I guess. Just the matter if you want to be the test subject that possibly blows their engine.

This is something you will have to be a pioneer about. Rather get in touch with jwt or enthalpy and see if they have a tune for it (im sure they can make one) or start tinkering with it on an safc. If the resolution is anything like the z32 start with 2in and 6 out. It would actually be great to know if this maf is equal or better because that would make it as a used part not even 10 years old.
