A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Just registered. Been considering a few upgrades to my little econo-box. Intake and Cat-back are on the list of ideas.

Anyone have any recommendations? I'm seeing alot of parts for the 2.5L and Spec-V's, but not my 1.8L.

Oh yeah, and I just that that sensor problem that Nissan started to warn us about. I wasn't covered? Car shut down on my while I was on the highway. Customer Service sucked.

With a MAF adapter from Autozone, an SE-R intake will fit.

Any exhaust designated as for the Sentra non-SE-R will fit, though SE-R units would fit with adjustments to the hangers.

BRM, Greddy, HKS, VRS, and Stromung all make non-SE-R exhausts. Check out our sponsors and you should be able to find at least a few options.

BRM is owned by the site's owner. You can call them via the number on their website.

And as for the sensor, that seems odd, but if you're not in the VIN range I guess you just weren't lucky that time.

Welcome to NICO! Do some searching, there have been quite a few lengthy discussions on QG18 performance. You may find more mods you're interested in.

I did a little hunting yesterday, found a few threads discussing mods to the 1-8's, then did a little digging at some of the websites people recommend and this is the short list of things that I've found that I'm considering:

Weapon*R Dragon intake - http://www.prostreetonline.com...1.asp

Turbo kit - http://www.prostreetonline.com/pnsku/ns2502x.asp

It's also a 5-speed without a tach, so I'm planning on adding one. One idea was swapping out the instrument cluster for one with an original Nissan tach. Otherwise I saw the "How to..." on the Stewar Warner Perf. Ultra Shift Light Install and it looks kinda nice.

Thanks for the exhaust thoughts. I'm definately going to have to hire somebody to do all this work with me. I've got alot of enthusiasm, but don't do much more on my car than oil, brakes, rotors, etc.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

If you can find a way to put in a set of Nissan gauges that includes a tach, that's definitely the cleaner-looking way to go.

Depending on what work it is, you can probably do it yourself. Exhaust and intake really require only a socket wrench and a screwdriver to do. Installers charge ridiculous amounts to do very simple things like that.

IMO, the filter design on that Weapon R looks iffy. I'd go with an SE-R intake with a MAF adapter over that.
