Newbie - Winter Wheels / Tires

In 2014, the G37 Sedan became Infiniti Q50. G37 Coupe and Convertible became Infiniti Q60 under Infiniti's new naming structure - Here's the place to discuss the Q50 and Q60!

Hi guys, i am new to the forum, just a quick intro: My name is Jay, from GTA in Canada, i have a 2015 Malbec Black Q50s, stock right now.

I have been searching the forum for last few weeks and it has been very useful, basically I am sourcing some Winter Wheels and Tires.

I have found some GTS (G701) performance Wheels, PCD 114.3 / 18x8.5 / ET35, with 225/45/18 Hercules Avalanche Snow Tires, being offered a good deal.

The searches I have done on these forums suggest the Wheels 'Should' fit.
Just wondering has anybody actually got these size specs Wheels / Tires on there Q50 sport? The guys selling them had these on G35 and 350z with big brakes also...(the offset that is worrying me most)
Also anybody heard of the Hercules Avalanche Snow Tires? Any help / advice much appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi and welcome to NICO Club!

I have found this tire calculator online and it is my favorite because it has a nice visual, all of the usual wheel and tire inputs, plus it allows you to add vehicle measurements for things like your fenders and suspension. Try it out with your OEM size and your used parts size to see the difference in fitment.

Hey thanks for welcome, and the website link...
Ok cool, i guess in theory I am ok!
Just was wondering if any Q50 owners have a similar setup?

I will try the wheels on, only way to tell i guess...

I know of a couple guys running 18s on the big brakes at a +38 offset and cleared the brakes ok. I think +35 should be just fine!

The OE wheels are 19x8 and +40-something, so everything should work out ok with the brakes. Post up some winter setup action when you can!

Glad to have you aboard the NICO Q50 bus!
