Tomorrow I go to the dealership to pick up my 2008 Versa SL! I have a few comments and questions concerning my purchase. My personal preference is a manual transmission and my dealer had a HUGE ordeal finding a 6 speed manual. Every car on the lot was a CVT. I've heard great things about the CVT but I have to have a manual. The dealership searched high and low for a 6 speed manual with all of the options I wanted (sunroof and 6 speed). It took 15 dealerships and one week to finally locate a 2008 Versa SL with a six speed manual but there was a problem. The car they found has the sport package. I didn't want to pay the extra money for the sport package. The dealership was so frustrated they wound up giving me the sport package for free! Is the 6 speed manual that hard to come by? Is it that popular or is there something I'm missing here? Is the 6 speed manual crap? Here is a list of the options I got on the car...2008 Versa SLSport Package, ABS option, Audio package, Sunroof option, Convenience package, Aluminum kick plates
