New z 32 maf install... Burning out??

I have recently installed a z32 maf sensor on my CA18det... i have an apexi safc2 running it and its set up 1 in and 9 out... It has been running fine but i can tell its running to super rich... if i change settings it pops n spits like none other.... now it seems like its starting to burn out because it will slowly peak to redline and seems to cut out around 3 grand like a normal maf blowout is at.... i was wondering how to cure the maf blowout problem... will a wideband o2senors n a fuel pressure regulator help at all???
