Just found this thread so forgive me for not posting sooner.

Bought my 240 in chicago while i was going to UTI. It was in ok shape other than a huge dent on the pass. side and some interior problems.

Then after driving it for a whole year the engine started getting some rod knock. which got worse until it finally got sick of it and threw the #4 rod out the bottom of the case... sweet. So i purchased and rebuilt another ka and put that in.

As for mods, the first thing i did was new brakes. Brembo blanks and hawk hp+ pads. Recently i installed the suspension and exhaust. Hopefully next summer I'll be throwing an SR in.

I'm not really into the whole drifting thing. I got hooked on autocrossing in my first car(1st gen miata), and when that car passed on i wanted something different than the others at the events. Since i'm sort of a nissan freak and i wanted rwd, i chose the 240. Bad choice for street touring class but once i get an SR i'll move up to street modified and i'll be a little more competetive.

Hi everyone, I live in the Madison area and we started a new forum that is for all Wisconsin Car Enthusiasts, if you are in the area and looking for fellow enthusiasts to meet up with check it out & join. I thought I would throw this on here for my fellow WI car fans. We get together a couple of times a week andwelcome all car types.

Hey, i'm from Mukwonago which is about 10 minutes outside of waukesha and bout 20 mins from Milwaukee. I picked this girl up bout 2 years ago and she's an ongoing project. Currently she's running a 98 ka getting boosted from a t3/t04 turbnetics turbo and she's still in the build stage. Hopefully this summer she'll be running. Just a couple pics of it in progress for right now

painted engine bay and deleted emissions

rebuilt the the motor had over 200k on it. New clutch, now has intake and deleted ac and ps also.

Its all put together now even purchased a parts car but cannot find out why i am not getting injector pulse tried everything logical it is some crazy wiring gremlin I'm sure.

man im tryin to figure out wat is wrong with my tranny, at first it was not goin into gear.. but if u kinda force it in itll go in but kinda grinds when goin in. then took off tranny.. and saw that the clutch disk was craked and the one spring poped out.. so switched it n put the tranny back in.. but after that it still feels the same..? u guys think my i might just need a new tranny?

Hey I'm Matt just picked up a 240sx last week im located towards menomonee falls. Picked her up with 30,920 original miles car looks like it came off the factory floor.

Well i'd like to do an sr20 swap now i just need something to spark up the ka24e a little bit until i get the sr20 and rebuild it get it looking real clean to throw it in there.

I agree 6k is too much. Someone did post an original window sticker once and I believe it was right around 19

yeah new they were anywhere from 17-23K i believe for S13's idk about the early single slammers though.i've seen beat to s*** hacked up "Stockish" s13's go for 4K around here. 6K for a 30K mile never been touched car isn't bad.

nvm but yea i resurfaced my flywheel if thats what u meant.. i guess the tranny blew..cuz when i bought another one n put it on it worked fine so yea.. thanks.. n damm thats a clean as s13.. i think i saw u the other day on i94 by miller park.. i was like god damm that s*** was clean, i slowed down n everything to look at it..lol
