I just got rid of my 07 Element SC, which I loved, for the 08 Versa hatch, which I can't wait to start. I picked up the S model, w/ Manual transmission, manual door locks, manual windows...but hey Electric mirrors oh yeah! HAHA anyway I debadged the back and took off that dang pin stripe they had put on sigh. CAI and exhaust is next in line....then maybe some hubcap spinners! Okay just kidding on the hubcap spinners...hahahaha

Welcome to NICO!

Just curious, why did you get rid of a 1 year old car if you loved it?

There was an AC issue I had been dealing with for 2 weeks after ownership. I drive 100 miles a day for work. Honda Help line wouldn't be of any help, and the dealership told me to live with it. So long story short I started documenting all my phone calls and used the lemon law to my advantage and they bought back the E after almost a year later. I opted not to go with Honda again after the horrible dealings, all I wanted was the AC fixed! Here is a pic of my E...

But thats ok...I now have a new toy!

Just got my Tiida Hatchback (it's not Versa here) two days ago. I have to say I'm in love with the car so far. Taking it on the road tomorrow for the first time (so far I've only been driving around the city, close to home). I did want some advice on something. I'm thinking about getting a new stereo system for the car. Nothing fancy, I don't need DVD players or anything like that. Just a nice stereo, preferably one that I can hook up my Ipod to. And has anyone bought one of this for their Versa??: http://cgi.ebay.com/NISSAN-VER...wItem

Thanks for the replies!!

Congrats aon the new ride. Looks nice in white. I took off my pinstripe first day, too.

I saw a TIIDA and Versa side by side the other day. You see both all the time down here.

Hey Werdkat, what kind of bike rack is that and where'd you buy it? Looks like a good solution. Can you lock the bike down? Good/ bad points of this solution?

That is a Saris Bones... I have the Saris Bones 2 (holds 2 bikes instead of 3) the arms are fully adjustable (which is nice if you're not carrying around girly bikes all the time) and it supports really well. The Bones (think of a wishbone) is designed to arch over a spoiler, but they work excellent on hatchbacks. I've had mine for ... 6 years or so and it is great.

It's a little more expensive than similar racks, but for the construction and versatility, you can't beat it.
