New trunk setup going in

Before I had a standard cube box with the amp mounted on the back seat. Today I picked up a dual 10" zenclosure box from someone on this forum. I covered one of the sub holes with this amp. Took forever to sand out the box because RE 10" subs are bigger than most, needed to sand .25 of an inch to get it to fit.

today I put my 4 channel mtx amp underneath the trunk matt. I removed the foam pice on the left side and cut out enough space to put in the amp. Tomorrow I will get a 12volt computer fan to put underneath there to help out with cooling and lay down some more dynamat. I also need to buy a few feet of 8awg wire for my power wire to reach the new location of the amp. I also put a grill on the sub which was not easy to find because this sub is bigger than most 10s, so most grills do not fit.

interesting...i actually have the same box and was wondering if this was possible. Now i know that it is...let me know how it sounds.

Just not using the other side (covering it up with the amp).

yea there are 2 separate chambers. There is a board between the 2 of them.

finished it up today. Tomarow going to tune the amp properly with a multimeter and go to advanced auto parts to buy new clips for the carpet on the roof of the trunk. So far the enclosure and subwoofer sound great.

wish you could hide the wires a little more tho..maybe make holes-route them through the box since your not using that side for a sub??i dunno. but nice looking box dude!
