it's a 720 4x4 ext cab with something on the order of 220,000 miles on it when i got it you couldn't go over 40mph and it shook real bad:) it was like riding a pogo stick, as it turned out the truck is in not to bad a condition, like all 720's it needs a new carb, ball joints and the like.....really the whole front end should be replaced.I'll post pics when i figure out how to post them, any help would be appreciated.
I'm going to start with the cab mounts they have rusted out in the front so I'll clean them up and weld some hot rolled sheet steel over them where the bolt mounts are
, also the coils aren't stock i know one is from say a 86 or 87 Nissan the other i think is from a 98 Chevy
,go figure.because of the coils being so different the truck spits and sputters when i take off from a stop or if i accelerate hard from low to moderate rpm. cap, rotor, plugs are new, plugs are factory ngks, i disabled the secondary coil (Chevy coil) and the truck seems happy for now but i would love to figure out what is causing the truck to bog down when i accelerate with both coils active. oh and the carb wiring harness has been cut, except for the choke wire.
