Well, I picked up another toy. Been awhile since I had a badass toy. Did the paper work on it today, got all approved, now its just waiting on me to pick it up.

Coming in at 123hp, Its a Brand new 2007 Yamaha R6S. I used to have a 2005 R1, and this is a step down in power, but still more than ill ever need. :D

Stock pic, for those that dont know what it looks like, my pics should be next week, since I work all weekend.

First things first, it needs a new exhaust, flush mount signals, tinted screen, and a undertail kit.

Did you get your halo checked to make sure it'll still fit when you need it? The way peeps drive today there's no way I'd be bikin

Ive had the same size helmet since I first started riding street bikes in 96. My helmet I use now, I used when I had my R1, and I used it at the track for my cars when I used to race 1/4 mile.

Not much traffic out where I live. Im about an hour from any real city. So ill be ok.

Nice ride. I'd love to have a sportbike again just to play with. I used ot have a ZX9R and F4i. Been eyeing an Ninja 250 because it's cheap and looks like a blast to wring the little thing out without getting tickets.

Try and save some cash for a few trackdays. Every sportbike deserves an afternoon at the "amusement park" to really stretch it's legs.

I think 123 might be rear wheel HP.... so it makes more like 15HP more than the Versa which is measured at the flywheel with all accessories on.

Keep the shiny side up!

I havent seen a dyno chart for the 07, but the 06s ive seen are usually around 112whp. I was told 123 crank on the 07-08. I know my R1 was 180 Crank hp, and that thing was scary when you got above 10k rpms.

The snow's melting, the snow's melting . . .

I figure it is going to take another couple of weeks before I can pull my bike out of storage . . . I am so looking forward to riding.

Congrats on the toy.

*jealous* I so wanted a bike... either a CBR125 (the new dinky Hondas ahahaha) Or the Kawasaki 250cc sport (looking street) bike. But my Mazda 6 started to act up so I used the money to get my V. At least my insurance won't be as high ~_~.

Those Kawasaki 250 Sportbike looking things are pretty cool. I walked up to one, and was like, damn this is small, looks good, but seems small, the guys starts laughing and says, its a 250. lol

415 cm.

The snow banks at the end of my driveway have been melting this week -- they have shrunk to almost the height of the V -- soon I'll be able to see when I'm backing onto the street.

Our weather is still pretty bad here. Its above freezing now, but we are getting massive rain storms. BUT, they only had 2 Brand new 07s left, and at 20% cheaper than a 08, I wanted to snag one before the spring rush came in.
