Hi guys I'm new to the site. I own a 2006 350z roadster but the engine recently died! So going for an engine conversion! Unable to find a replacement VQ35DE Rev-Up engine in the UK at the moment, loads of base & HR's but they're no good for me! So being a bit mental & never 1 to choose the easy path I'm gonna be putting a VK45DD in my roadster! :chuckle:
Here she is! The love of my life! :yesnod

Same here. It's a bit less boring than the "just put an LS into it" solution most people opt for.

Welcome to NICO! :badger

I prefer the harder option! Lol. Why do the same as everyone else hey? Do summat different. The only hard part is getting info on the VK45, especially part numbers! Grrrrr. Still I want a Nissan 450z so a 450z I shall have! I also wanna be the be 1st in the UK to do this! Also to add to the fun I'm undertaking another swap with my friend. He has an Audi S4 V8 on a B6 chassis & his engine went a week before mine so we're retrofitting a 2.7 V6 twin turbo out of a B5 in his! That's an easy swap compared to mine as loads of people have don't it!

We have most of the Nissan Factory Service Manuals (FSMs) available here, that should help a bit with part numbers.

The other thing I'd suggest is dropping by areas on NICO for vehicles that have the VK. Outside of HP & torque numbers and maybe some other basic stuff I know FA about the VK. :chuckle:
