hey ya'll -- I'm Leann, 24 ys old from Texas.. I've had my 2.5 altima coupe for a little more than a year and I absolutely love it!! (and I'm not going to lie - I miss my 02 Ranger Edge I traded in a little too -- it can go over stuff my cute little car cant) Anyways -- I over looked the detail of my rims at buying (and passed over the option to upgrade that will get me better rims - I was trying to keep the cost down) sooo.. with that said.. I have never had a car that had hub caps - and now its driving me crazy.. (I didn't even notice bc I was more focused on how it looked, and performed.. the whole 9) and I am really wanting to upgrade my oh so lovely 16" steelies with caps to something else.. does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions?? All would be appreciated!! Thaaaanks!!

thanks!!! it's radiant silver.. mmm as far as size.. i know i'm not liking these 16s right now.. so I'm thinkin 18s? Will it mess up the smoothness of the ride if I have less tread.. I assume it would.. but I've never bought a set of rims before..

shortys408: I'll check out the thread.. thanks!!

Welcome to NICO

Along with that thread, there is an entire altima wheel and tire section on here. Lots of help to be found there.

Welcome to the club hun!

http://forums.altimas.org/zeromain thats the link you should bookmark!

All the info here is in its proper section (for the most part)... (this type of discussion is in the "wheels" Section.... take a look over there, all the answers are within!

The search button works too, and we are always here to help you out! (just try and post in the right section if you can, if you arent sure, dont worry theres no beatings issued!)

I dont really like those borbets, but its your car!If you are looking for a deal maybe check craigslist for 5x114.3 (our bolt pattern)

WELCOME!

I am with LBC. I don't care for those rims. I am more for something with a deep lip. I did see someone on the forum with a set of oem wheels off of a g37s that looked really good on his coupe. That may be a less expensive way of getting wheels and tires.

I am also looking to upgrade my rims. I have the OEM 18's that came on my 3.5. I have my eye on a set of 19" Volk rims.

Anyways welcome to the forum. maybe I will see ya at one of the Houston meets.

P.S. Lower that car!

as for lowering the car.. it would look hella sexy i'm sure.. but not what I want to spend the money on.. (pinchin pennies so we can buy a house within the next year or so )

I would get Enkei RP03's in 17. It's five-spoke, looks good, won't mess up the ride, and the design makes it look like it's 18"; a fairly good compromise.

(but I have the s***ty 17" 08 wheels, so it had to be done)

The '09 stock wheels make me so angry that I will have to go back my crappy stock wheels in the winter.

Welcome, glad to see another Texan on here, ha.

I'm looking at some Tenzo's myself but those G37's look super clean I will admit.
