Ok so the gt28 won't fit the stock ca18det manifold or the SS auto chrome one? Also you have to use a ca18det dumppipe from a t25 and a ca downpipe?

motor, transmission, ecu, I am gonna run dsm's for a lil bit at low boost until I can get some 550cc's, I am gonna run a gt28 with a reinforced SS mani, a FMIC,walbro pump, greddy emanage, I am looking for a Boost controller and a ignitor, a ca elbow and downpipe, greddy 3 exhaust, a turbo XS BOV, and my only questions are should I change the headgasket right away before the swap and to what to and what clutch to use with the CA? Am I forgetting anything?

Also will I have to run a different MAF to get to around 300 Or will the SOHC be good enough?

No, I don't think the SOHC maf will get you there. I THINK it peters out somewhere around 250whp. I could be wrong on that though...
