Gah, that "4 door coupe" looks like my friends new Camry. Not bad but it doesn't draw me to it either.

Oh yeah, Mercedes did make one of the most reliable cars ever. The 240D. My dad's is still going strong at a 1/4 of a million miles. I'm detemined to put some Watanabes on it and paint it Gloss Black with some limo tint at some point.

They are cool. I had thought about buying an old Espada. Very sexy car, full 4 seater, and can be bought for about $20K.

I like the 70's Lambos...the Countache was cool too.

it just didn't have the balls the Ferrari had though...

this thread now reminds me of that movie from the 80's where some company made kit cars that looked like Countaches and some guy bought one but it really sucked and was full of bugs and they wouldn't refund him for it...

that movie was stupid...

Most definitely! I didn't realize that until I read your post... Maybe that's why

I love the looks of my '93 so much...

And yeah, I'm glad to see a company that's kept with essentially the same styling theme since the very beginning (porche). It's impressive that they've done it without making the styling old, or having multiple identical models (though they came close with the boxter and it's contemporary 911).
