Picked it up on Monday and traded my 05 F-150 XLT Supercab for it. It was time for something more fuel efficient and I still have another F-150. :-) Another reason for the purchase is my wife had been driving a PT Cruiser as a rental when she was out of town and when she came back she mentioned how nice it was to drive a car again. Easy to park, easy to maneuver and good on gas. I asked her what she wanted and she mentioned a crossover. we looked at several different models: Ford Edge, Mazda CX-7, Murano, etc. and then we came across the Rogue. The thing we liked the most was the size and fuel mileage. We decided to go for it. We knew we would miss the truck, but we both feel it was the best thing to do.

We originally were considering the orange or the iridium colors, but we decided to go with phantom white as we live on gravel road and our cars get dirty easy. I suggested silver, as it is the easiest color to keep looking good, but she didn't want it. The phantom white with the pearl effect seemed like the next best thing.

Our Rogue:Phantom White SL w/premium package, moon roof, side skirts, black cloth interior.

White is not the easiest for dirt thats for sure. It's the best looking colour in my opinion, which is why I got it, but I quickly discovered that it shows nearly everything (except salt!)

I've learned to live with it for now. I still love the colour though!

Well keep in mind I own black vehicles which is the hardest color to take care of, so white should be easy comparably.

You don't want the mortgage payments, trust me!!

We just had it built this year and we moved in back in May. 3100sq ft home with 24 acres of land.

I really like the white or the dark Grey color. Is that color OK for a guy?

My other choices are: 2009 Forester (new body more Crossover like), Honda CR-V and Mini Cooper S (the odd one out of the pick) http://bp3.blogger.com/_XEEIzU...1.jpgh ... zU...2.jpg

I wouldn't see why not. Grays are definitely more of a guy color, but white is pretty neutral. Didn't really matter to me since this was more for my wife than me. I drive a black 2001 F-150 Harley edition as my primary vehicle and a black 98 Mustang GT on occasion.
