Hello all,
I finally took delivery on my new Red Sport this week. I know when I originally placed my order (months ago), I was curious about seeing some different color combinations... and sadly there just weren't many examples on the internet of the carbon fiber and black trim on colors other than red. So, for anyone who may be in the market and would like to see black on gray... here's how mine turned out. I'm pretty pleased. Obviously the grille and carbon fiber are Infiniti factory options... the wheels however were dipped by the dealership where I bought the car for an additional fee, but I feel like they match the grille closely enough. Hope you enjoy... cheers

Congrats, looks great.

I have an Obsidian Black Q50 Red Sport and had the dealer paint the chrome grill surround body color, there's a thread here. I see the Sewell dealer plate, I got my RS 400 from Sewell Infiniti Dallas.

I just added a Nissan Motorsport axelback exhaust, got tired of waiting for Stillen postponing over and over, really happy with it.

Enjoy your Red Sport, had mine 6 months and I love it.........

Wow man. Your car is just perfect. Beautiful ride.

The color scheme is pretty much identical to the 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition.

Thanks... I'm loving the car so far. My only complaint is the new exhaust note of the 3.0 TT doesn't sound quite as good as the old 3.7 VQ, but man this thing's throttle is nice and twitchy. She really digs in when 3rd gear lands and the turbos are spooled up. I had to go look up the 40th anniversary Z you mentioned, but yeah I can see the resemblance.

Everybody is complaining about the exhausts on the Q50/60 Red Sports, my G37 IPL sounded great stock, the twin turbos somewhat act as mufflers on the new 30.0 TT.

My dealer now has demo Red Sports with the Infiniti Motorsport exhausts, both with and without mufflers, the muffler delete version droned way too much, I got the standard Motorsport exhaust, very happy, had it a few weeks.

Also Infiniti pumps in motor sound through the speakers, reachable through the service menu. Turning it on/off with the stock exhaust did not make much different to me, but was very noticeable with the new exhaust, and I turned it off.

There are a lot of aftermarket axelback and catback exhausts out there now (except Stillen who keeps postponing and I gave up up). I am satisfied with the Infinit stamped Motorsport exhaust, it roars on acceleration but does not drone on the highway.

Enjoy your Red Sport, I love mine, now I can hear it........

Here's my Graphite Shadow G37 IPL, loved that car, it took a Red Sport to make me trade.
